Training

PMYC is an Australian Sailing Discover Sailing Centre. Our fully qualified Coaches and Instructors teach a range of courses that can take you from your first experience of sailing through to racing and on to competing at a national or international level.

We have specific programs for adults learning to sail, juniors learning to sail and a junior development squad. We offer customised coaching for individuals and groups – usually by class or type of boat.

Our sailing school classes are supported by rescue boats to ensure the safety of our sailing school participants at all times, and participants are provided with life jackets.

To enrol in the sailing school you can join as a Start Sailing member of the club.  This low cost membership option gives you the option to begin sailing and see how it suits you.  As a Start Sailing member, you have full access to club facilities and may crew in club races.   Start Sailing membership is limited to your first two years.  After two years, you will transition to full membership.
